The June 2024 meeting of IPMS Hamilton brought together 31 members for another engaging and informative evening.
Topic of the Night: AMPS Judging System
We had the pleasure of welcoming Duncan A. Young, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Armor Modeling and Preservation Society (AMPS) Judging System. Duncan walked us through the rules, processes, and what to expect when entering a model into an AMPS show.
Spotlight on the AMPS 2024 International Convention
Duncan also shared highlights from the 2024 AMPS International Convention, which took place April 11–13 at the Century Center in South Bend, Indiana. This annual event attracted scale armor and military vehicle builders from across North America, showcasing an incredible variety of models, including:
Tanks
Armored cars
Trucks and jeeps
Figures
Futuristic combat vehicles
The convention was a testament to the passion and skill of the scale armor modeling community, featuring hundreds of models on display.
